Statement of Intent

Institutions    I can assure that my documentary posters will stay within the guidelines of the ASA as it will just be a footballer on a football pitch either playing or posing with a football. So there will be no graphic or inappropriate content included. History of TV Documentaries Paragraphs

The history of TV documentaries began with early cinema, gaining prominence in the 1940s with wartime and historical themes, evolving through landmark BBC series like Monitor and Civilisation in the 1960s/70s.   TV documentaries are experiencing a significant surge in popularity, driven by streaming services, increased accessibility, and a growing audience appetite for authentic, engaging non-fiction content, with genres like true crime, nature and sports.     Based on recent industry reports from 2023–2025, television documentaries and docuseries have experienced a rapid golden era boom, largely driven by streaming platforms.   I will be making football documentary posters based on the behind the scenes of the football club that I have made up called Oakhaven Orient.
